The Zimbabwe Guardian is an online news publisher for Zimbabwe. Launched in early 2006, it is one of Zimbabwe’s long serving online news publishers and is reputed for its independent content. It is controlled by individuals who are not in any way affiliated to a political organisation or entity in Zimbabwe or anywhere in the world. The editorial stance of the publication is a choice for the editors and is not, in any way, influenced by politicians from any political party in Zimbabwe.
The publication was previously known as TalkZimbabwe, a name that was changed in 2008 to reflect the new editorial stance.
We pride ourselves in our ability to write independently without undue political or any other influence.
We are constantly seeking partners in the media and general business sectors. Our philosophy is to empower people by giving them access to unbiased well-researched information. We believe that knowledge is power and strong communities are built through access to information that affects our daily lives.
