THE Zimbabwe Sevens rugby side on Sunday won their opening Pool B game against France 19-7 but went down to England and Scotland at the Emirates Airline Dubai tournament.
The Cheetahs fell 29-0 to England and then lost to Scotland 19-17 in a close game, according to The Herald on Monday.
This means that Zimbabwe will now have to brace for the bowls quarter-final this morning where teams that have finished in the bottom two of the four groups will play.
Zimbabwe finished third in the group.
It was the second win for Zimbabwe over France after they beat them at the Tuskers Kenya Sevens tournament in July.
Drawn against three Six Nations sides, it was a huge test for the young Cheetahs side.
