The capital city of Addis Ababa is eagerly awaiting the clash between its two big clubs, St George and Ethiopian Coffee, at the national stadium.
A full-house of around 25,000 is expected and with St George already crowned champions all eyes will be on national team strikers Seid Saladin of Saints and Tesfaye Tafesse of Coffee. They are engaged in a battle royal to claim the 20,000 Birr (£1,200) prize money for the league's top scorer.
Saladin went to the top of charts with a hat-trick last weekend and must be favourite to win the cash against a Coffee side who have endured a disappointing season. 2nd Division outfit Debre Birhan, located two hours drive north east of the capital, have announced surprising plans to build a 30,000 capacity stadium next year. It will be a larger version of the Abebe Bekila Stadium in Addis.
