So you don’t believe it’s written in the stars?

SO, while you don’t believe it is written in the stars, strangely enough millions do! So much has been written about Zimbabwe in the last 30 years that while deciding to write something totally different, I was shocked to discover in my research that Robert Mugabe (D.O.B. 21.2.1924) and Morgan Tsvangirai (D.O.B. 10.3.1952) were both born under the sign of Pisces, anytime between 15th February – 19th March!

Our two leaders who – on the surface, anyway – are totally dissimilar in every way, although they are both ruled by Jupiter. You also have to remember that there are positives and negatives in every sign.

Anyone interested in astrology will discover that, as outlined in Wikipedia, those born under this sign are impressionable, malleable (capable of being hammered into shape - another suitable word would be adaptable), gentle, good natured or easy going, likeable and kind, compassionate, sympathetic, sensitive, impractical and dreamy, instinctive and intuitive, imaginative and artistically able, versatile, gullible, naïve, easily led, spiritual, escapist and selfless are possibilities that are indicated.

Not only all this, but anyone born under this astrology sign has a preference for a feeling of appreciation, to be loved, to have freedom to do what they want, to have stability. They are comfortable in mystical settings, dreaming and in having their input valued while enjoying an image of unique attributes.

On the other hand, Pisces dislike include feeling vulnerable, having no goals, being criticized, noisy scenes and displays and having no sense of structure. Furthermore, Pisces dislike illiteracy?

In their preferred careers Pisces might excel in medicine, and would make good vets or pharmacists. Apparently they are fascinated by anything related to the sea, acting, psychics or mystics, religion and cooking.

Well, if this doesn’t sound like anyone you know, then how about imaging that the two leaders of Zimbabwe were both born during the lunar month, sometime between 6th March –  4th April, which signifies the sign of the rabbit. This is a fluffy diplomatic bunny that is considered to be kind. No mention is made of how it can kick and scratch and even draw blood when cornered in a vice-like grip. Still not convinced? Google http://www.skyscript.co.uk/pisces.html  (On the other hand, if you want to read up on your own characteristics, type in your star sign instead of Pisces – go on, no one is looking!).
